A QUIET HAND & A KEEN EYE
I’ve been grooming dogs for over 35 years, but my career almost ended before it began. At the end of my apprenticeship, a car accident cost me the use of my left hand, and I thought I had lost my dream. But my love for dogs was stronger. I spent three years strengthening and relearning my craft from scratch, transforming my limitation into my greatest strength: a gentler, more patient, and deeply tender touch.
As a Buddhist, I believe a dog’s grooming experience should be as peaceful as the bond you share with them. I am naturally a quiet person in a loud world that finds my center in the focused work of my hands. Grooming is a meditation in trust. Each snip, each bath, and each brush is done with mindfulness. Listening to the subtle cues of your dog so they feel safe and respected from start to finish.
I'm also an award winning visual artist, and this lets me see every dog as a living canvas. A great groom is about proportion, texture, and revealing the unique character hidden under all that fluff. I treat each coat with the precision of an artist because I know that when your dog looks good, it lifts your spirit, too.
Most importantly, I want you to know that my workspace is a judgment-free, welcoming zone for every client and family. I am committed to creating a space where diversity is celebrated and every client feels truly seen and valued.
I’m here to give you a great groom and peace of mind. If you’ve been searching for a groomer who cares as much about your dog’s emotional well-being as their haircut, I would be genuinely honored to meet you both.
That joy, that trust, that connection—it’s why I do what I do.
